 Beach Coastline of Goa.

The tropical land of Goa is blessed with a continuous coastline of around 105 kms starting with the shoreline of Maharashtra’s Virgin beaches and ending with the port town beach of Karwar. Goa’s first beach is Querim (Keri) beach as one approaches from Maharashtra and the last beach of Goa as one enters into the state of Karnataka is Polem beach. A very popular aspect of the beaches of Goa are its Beach Shacks.

Temples of Goa

Before the 16 th Century, Goa was just a land of Temples. It was a Jewel in the East. Until the Portuguese rulers visited Goa as Spice merchants and later introduced their culture and religion, then Goa started to become the Rome of the East. Goa has a rich Vedic History.

I started packing my baggage, knowing very well that I was surely going to miss the plane. With half an hour in hand, two bellboys rushing my luggage to the trunk of the waiting black and yellow taxi, my hotel in Colaba an upscale residential cum tourist area in Mumbai (earlier Bombay) seemed to be a million miles away from the bumper to bumper traffic of this city called Mumbai which earned itself the tag of becoming the Mega city of India, just because of its bursting population.
